1. Amari Rodgers

Just a couple of months ago, Amari Rodgers wasn’t even expected to be on the field against Syracuse.

Instead, he was able to play starter-level snaps and came away with four catches for 121 yards and two touchdowns. Rodgers caught the first touchdown of the game and then made a highlight-reel play in the third quarter when he stiff-armed a Syracuse defender and broke off an 87-yard touchdown run on a screen play.

Rodgers looks stronger than he did last year and still has that same explosive burst.

He’s going to be an intricate part of the Clemson football offense moving forward and we’d expect him to move back into a starter role this week against Charlotte.

Amari Rodgers is one of the most underrated wide receivers in the nation. He’s not talked about as much as he should, but it’s clear that he’ll be an impact player for the Tigers’ vaunted offense over the course of this season.
