3. KJ Henry

For the past year, we’ve received numerous questions from Clemson football fans asking if KJ Henry was a bust.

Henry elected to redshirt his first season with the Tigers to get stronger and didn’t show up too much in the first couple of games in the 2019 season.

Well, he was on the field and was one of the top performers along the defensive line Saturday night in the Carrier Dome.

Henry, alongside Logan Rudolph and Xavier Thomas, created pressure from the defensive end spots all night long on Syracuse QB Tommy DeVito. He finished the night with three tackles and a 0.5 sack, as well as a pass breakup.

Henry is progressing nicely and is showing why he was rated a 5-star coming out of high school.
