Clemson Football: 5 Tigers who impressed vs. Syracuse

4. Tee Higgins

Tee Higgins had seven catches for 150 yards, all in the first half.

Higgins came away with a couple of big time catches that extended drives and allowed the Tigers to get on the board early and take control of the game.

Though he didn’t score a touchdown, Higgins made plays in the passing game that set up the first two touchdowns of the game and he looked good in doing so. The only major knock for Higgins in this one had to do with the fact that he explained after the game that he ran the wrong route on Trevor Lawrence’s first interception.

Even so, Clemson football fans should be impressed with how Higgins, in particular, physically dominated the Syracuse secondary and made some plays in the first half of the game.
