6. John Simpson

After a couple of years of development, John Simpson is ready to be a full-time starter.

Simpson has been learning from some talented guards and tackles over the past two years and now he will be relied upon to be a starter.

That Clemson offensive line was not exactly the picture of consistency in 2017. The Tigers had a few dominating performances, but for the most part they were just average or subpar at best.

Simpson will be an essential part of the effort to make the offensive line better this season.
