Center

Dustin Fry

Dustin Fry gets the nod at the center position for the all-time Clemson football team. Fry became one of the best centers to ever play at Clemson University. He had the ability to lead and read defenses like no other center. He was able to call out signals to the other offensive linemen and helped pick up blocks to protect quarterback Charlie Whitehurst among others from blitzes and such during his tenure as a Tiger.

He knew the position so well that now he is the offensive line coach at SMU under head coach Chad Morris. He did a great job as a Tiger and carried the program’s name with class. He was named to the second-team All-ACC team in 2006 and was also named a first-team strength All-American.

Kyle Young

Kyle Young is one of the most decorated Clemson football in school history. Young was named an All-American on and off the field in both 2000 and 2001. In 2001, Sporting News and the Football News named him a third-team All-American. What was great about Young was his ability to lead the offensive line. He was able to relate to the other offensive linemen and they looked up to him. He was a valuable talent on and off the field and helped the Tigers in those early 2000 seasons.
