Clemson Football Recruiting: Class of 2016 Commitments

facebooktwitterreddit

Clemson football recruiting commitments, position breakdown, and notable targets for the 2016 class.

After wrapping up what might have been the strongest Clemson football recruiting class in program history during the 2015 cycle, the Tigers will try to repeat that success with the 2016 class.

Early signs are encouraging that the 2016 Clemson football recruiting class could be as good, or even better, than the 2015 class. The Tigers secured three major 2016 commitments on National Signing Day, bringing the total up to seven before the 2015 recruiting cycle officially ended.

It’s possible that this could be a smaller class. The Tigers will be a fairly young team in 2015, and there won’t be too many departing seniors at the end of the season. But that may just allow Clemson to be pickier about who they take. So even if this class doesn’t ultimately rank as high as the 2015 class did, it may have even more star-power, on average.
