Dabo Swinney and his Clemson football program have made it very clear: The road to a National Championship goes through Tiger Town.

If you want to win a National Championship, chances are you’re going to have to go through Clemson and Dabo Swinney.

The Tigers defeated the Alabama Crimson Tide 44-16 back in January to win their second National Championship in the past three seasons.

With Clemson coming away with the victory, the Tigers have been a point of discussion around national media. For the first time, media members are beginning to realize that Clemson winning is no fluke. The Tigers truly have built themselves up to be a national power and aren’t going anywhere anytime soon.

This has caused SEC media members like Paul Finebaum to scramble for talking points and look for any narrative possible to discredit the Tigers. It still hasn’t worked.

That was made clear when the USA Today Coaches’ Poll came out just a couple of weeks ago with Clemson ranked as the No. 1 team in the nation by a wide margin. Coaches around the nation- with the exception of a jealous few- recognize just how talented that program has become and what the Tigers represent when they step on the field.

It’s no easy feat to beat a team that has play-makers like Trevor Lawrence, Tee Higgins, Travis Etienne and Justyn Ross. In addition to skill position players, the Tigers have one of the top offensive lines in the nation.

Defensively, Clemson will have to replace some historically great players, but the Tigers have plenty of young talent to form a great unit.

The truth is that the Tigers are a force to be reckoned with. Dabo Swinney has built a juggernaut of a program with talent across the board and the single-best coaching staff from top-to-bottom.
