In the latest recruiting predictions, Clemson football came away with several top 5-star recruits from around the nation.

FanSided.com released its predictions for where every single 5-star recruit will land when it’s all said and done with the 2020 class.

To no one’s surprise, Clemson football was among the leaders of the destinations.

FanSided.com’s Charles Rahrig V predicted several top prospects to choose the Tigers, including the nation’s No. 1 quarterback DJ Uiagalelei and the nation’s No. 1 overall player in Bryan Bresee.

Here’s a look at the 5-stars predicted to choose Clemson at this point in the 2020 recruiting cycle.

  • Antoine Sampah, LB
  • Myles Murphy, DE
  • Jordan Burch, DE
  • DJ Uiagalelei, QB
  • Bryan Bresee, DL

The Tigers also are in the running for several other prospects that were predicted to other schools, including RB Demarkcus Bowman (Florida), TE Arik Gilbert (UGA), LB Sav’ell Smalls (Alabama), WR Julian Fleming (Penn State) and LB Justin Flowe (USC).

Thoughts:

I agree on the vast majority of these predictions, as of right now. Sampah, Murphy, Uiagalelei and Bresee are all Clemson football leans.

Burch was seemingly a lean to the Tigers, but it may now be 50/50 between Clemson and South Carolina.

One of the predictions I don’t necessarily agree with is Demarkcus Bowman. Bowman named Clemson as his leader and has been extremely impressed with the Tigers. He has visited Clemson multiple times and clearly favors the Tigers over the Gators currently.

Sav’ell Smalls is a heavy Alabama lean and Julian Fleming has been favoring Penn State for quite some time. Arik Gilbert is a toss-up between UGA, Clemson and a couple of other schools and Justin Flowe will be tough to steal from USC.

Next. DE group looks terrifying following spring. dark

Out of the prospects that are currently favoring other schools, I think the Tigers have the best chance to swing Julian Fleming and Arik Gilbert, if I were to pick two.
