Clemson football 5-star targets are taking visits around the country. Two of the Tigers’ top targets have set their visits for the coming weeks.

The 2020 Clemson football recruiting class has the potential to be the absolute best in the history of the program. The Tigers already have some of the top players in the country committed and are going after several big-time names.

Two of the top targets for Clemson football in the 2020 cycle are 5-star WR Julian Fleming and 5-star LB Antoine Sampah.

Both Fleming and Sampah scheduled some key visits in the process of their recruitment this weekend. Fleming will be heading over to Ohio State for the fourth time. He visited Clemson and Penn State the past two weekends.

Fleming is believed to be favoring Penn State and then Ohio State, followed by Clemson. He has visited Penn State several times, including three times this year. The Tigers made up some ground when Fleming visited for Clemson football’s second Junior Day, but I’d still say that the Nittany Lions are the favorite to win his services.

Ohio State will look to make up some ground on Penn State this weekend.

On the other side of the ball, Clemson is targeting 5-star linebacker Antoine Sampah. Though Sampah released a top-eight a little while back, it is believed that Clemson and Alabama are his leaders.

The Tigers hold the lone crystal ball prediction for his services on 247 sports, but it’s clear that his recruitment is far from being over.

He announced a tour with several of his high school teammates over the next weekend and into next week. During that tour, he’ll be visiting Clemson early next week and visited Alabama Thursday. Others on the tour include Florida International, Mississippi State, UCF, LSU, ETSU, Miami, USF, Chattanooga, UAB, Jacksonville State and Southeastern.
