Clemson football wide receiver Hunter Renfrow has been a special part of the Tigers’ runs to the College Football Playoff.

Clemson football wide receiver Hunter Renfrow is special.

Renfrow has become the safety blanket for Clemson quarterbacks over the years: First Deshaun Waston then Kelly Bryant and now Trevor Lawrence.

He just seems to always make the catch or the play needed at the perfect moment- when the Tigers need it most.

In addition to being a superb wide receiver, Renfrow is the backup punter and the fourth-string quarterback for the Tigers. The truth of the matter is that he can do it all.

After this season, though, Renfrow will be gone. So, the question is where exactly does he fit in the NFL?

Renfrow in the NFL?

The Clemson football wide receiver certainly has a place in the National Football League. For a couple of years, everyone has said that they’d like to see Renfrow play with the New England Patriots.

To me, that’d be a perfect fit. He has just as good hands as anybody in the country.

If you give him a quarterback like Tom Brady and some solid teammates at the wide receiver position, he’ll be able to do the same things that he was able to do for Clemson.

He won’t ever be that “option one,” but he’ll certainly be the perfect safety valve and be in position to make some big plays.

Another place I think he could succeed would be with the Houston Texans. Give Renfrow a chance to play with Deshaun Watson knowing that teams will be keying in on DeAndre Hopkins and Will Fuller.

Renfrow certainly has the talent, ability and work ethic to succeed in the NFL. I’d really like to see him get with a franchise that he could be successful with. It will be fun to see the senior wide-out play the rest of the season and we will all be pulling for him as he gets ready for his NFL career at the end of this season.
