Brandon Rink at Orange and White breaks down the offensive lines for both Clemson football and Georgia. Looks like a slight edge to Georgia, but methinks the Bulldogs have a tougher challenge trying to handle Clemson’s defensive line.
Edge: Georgia – Both facing attacking front-sevens, the opener is a big test for two sides looking for answers. Their best game collectively is keeping the QB clean and allowing two units stacked with skill position stars to do their work.
In ACC news, Louisville WR DeVante Parker injured his foot in practice Friday. If he is out for any length of time, it will be very bad news for the Cardinals.
Parker was injured during practice at Papa John’s Stadium on Friday and evaluated by team physicians. He will visit Dr. Bob Anderson in Charlotte “in the next couple days for further evaluation and management,” the release said.
Will Vandervort at Clemson Insider has a good story on RB Adam Choice, who will see the field this season out of necessity after the injury to Zac Brooks.
“[Choice] is probably one of the best natural runners that we have signed here in a long time. He has great vision, is low to the ground and physically is ready,” [Dabo] Swinney said. “Mentally, we have to still grow him up some, but now that we have the situation that we have we will give him plenty of reps and will get him ready to go.”
Only seven days until Clemson football kicks off the 2014 season! It can’t get here soon enough.
