Former Tiger Chad Kelly Visits Alabama, According To Reports

Recently dismissed quarterback Chad Kelly reportedly made a visit to the University of Alabama this past weekend. Kelly, a four star prospect out of high school, is currently enrolled at East Mississippi Community College and will likely look to transfer to a major D1 program for the 2015 season.

This is to be expected from Kelly. He has reportedly visited multiple SEC schools already, and will likely have even more interest come his way if he performs well in 2014 for East Mississippi C.C.

Personally, I’m fine with it. I was a fan of Kelly’s in his time at Clemson and thought he was the best quarterback for the starting job coming into spring practice this year. If Kelly is going to go anywhere, I would rather it be in the SEC. The last thing I want to see is Chad Kelly playing Clemson on a Saturday. He would surely be out for blood should he ever square off against the Tigers, so an SEC school is preferable to an ACC school, in my opinion.
