Former Clemson power forward Devin Booker is celebrating, and rightfully so.
Booker, a 2013 graduate, has been playing his first year of professional basketball overseas in France. After beginning the year with Sluc Nancy, Booker wound up with Bourg in France’s Pro B League where he averaged 12 points and 6.1 rebounds per game as a rookie.
Booker was named MVP of the Championship Series after scoring 21 points in the series finale.
It’s always nice to see former Tigers excelling and finding success when they leave Clemson. The successful year in France could lead Booker closer to a chance to play in the NBA alongside brother, and former Tiger, Trevor.
