The annual three game weekend series with South Carolina is upon us. Tomorrow night, the Tigers will travel to Columbia to take on the Gamecocks on the road, before a neutral field showdown at Fluor Field in Greenville on Saturday, and a home game at Doug Kingsmore Stadium on Sunday. Ace right hander Daniel Gossett is slated to start for the Tigers in Columbia tomorrow night.

While Clemson (6-1) hasn’t faced any truly stiff competition thus far this year, they have managed to compile 5 come from behind wins in their six victories. Such perseverance may be necessary to grab a series win against the Gamecocks, a top 5 or 10 team depending on what rankings you look at.

Tickets for Saturday afternoon’s game in Greenvile, SC are already sold out, while Sunday afternoon’s series finale at Doug Kingsmore Stadium has only a few standing room only tickets still available.

First pitch Friday is scheduled for 7 pm.
