BREAKING: Sammy Watkins Runs 4.34 In First Attempt At The NFL Combine

We’ve all been waiting for it, and the unofficial time is in. Watkins was clocked at 4.34 in his first attempt at the 40 yard dash at the NFL Scouting Combine today in Indianapolis.

Watkins is scheduled to run the 40 one more time today. We’ll update you as the day progresses.

UPDATE: Watkins’ second time was unofficially posted at 4.37 meaning it looks like his fastest time will be around the 4.34 mark he put up in his first run. Some people thought Watkins had a chance at dropping below 4.30, but 4.34 is still an extremely fast time. Without any hiccups from here until the draft, Watkins should see himself taken in the top 10 picks.
