Mitch Hyatt, the 2015 class’ #13 overall prospect is expected to commit to Clemson as early as Wednesday, according to reports. Hyatt’s ties to Clemson are well documented as his uncle was a member of the 1981 National Championship team under Danny Ford. Hyatt, a 6’5″ offensive tackle, is the #2 prospect in the state of Georgia, and is expected to announce his commitment to Clemson tomorrow evening, after his senior teammates declare where they will be playing in 2014.

Hyatt, a 5 star recruit, celebrates his birthday on Thursday, so there is speculation that he may wait until then to announce, but no matter when he decides to commit, this will be a huge get for the Tigers. Clemson will make a big splash early in the 2015 recruiting campaign with Hyatt, which should cause a trickle effect in landing other top recruits.
